Filipp Eduardowitsch Dawydenko ( Russian Филипп Эдуардович Давыденко ; born September 2, 1992 in Volgograd ) is a Russian tennis player . He is the nephew of the former tennis player Nikolai Dawydenko .
Career
Filipp Dawydenko mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour .
He made his debut in singles on the ATP World Tour in September 2012 at the Malaysian Open , where he failed in the first main round to Matthew Ebden . His next solo appearance on the World Tour came as part of the MercedesCup in Stuttgart in July 2014. Here, after successfully qualifying, he won his first-round game against Blaž Rola , just to fail in the round of 16 against Santiago Giraldo . He made his first appearance in doubles together with Ilya Beljajew at the Kremlin Cup in Moscow in October 2009. They lost their opening doubles against Martín Vassallo Argüello and Horacio Zeballos in two sets.
