The following are also mentioned: the year of the respective first festival edition, the place (city) in which the respective festival venue (s) are located, and the content specialization of the respective festival. The term international is used here if there are no geographical restrictions with regard to the production countries of the films. The list is arranged in ascending order according to the year of foundation, a change in color in the rows marks a change in the decade of the foundation date.
