Fire Twister - Fire Hell LA (Original title: Fire Twister ) is a US-American - Canadian low-budget - disaster movie , which in the June 21, 2015 Netherlands its premiere celebrated.
action
The film begins with an action by the environmental group Eco, which consists of Scott, a former firefighter, Clara, a climate scientist , and Jason and Barbie. The group unfurls a banner against oil production at a storage facility belonging to the oil company Synco. They discover a bomb that has been placed there and can escape before it explodes. The explosion then creates the so-called Fire Twister, a tornado of flames that steers towards nearby Los Angeles and causes immense destruction.
While escaping from the tornado, the environmental activists are shot at by CIA agents who were also responsible for the bomb, and they take refuge in a park. There they meet the Synco engineer Anthony, who informs them that a new fuel has been stored in the tank that burns for a very long time so that the tornado will not go out.
The Eco members then follow the Fire Twister to Los Angeles, where it wreaked havoc and almost killed the activists. These are also still under fire from CIA agents who were ordered by Synco's CEO to kill the activists. In a television interview, the Synco CEO announced that the environmental activists were responsible for the firestorm, so they will be searched for immediately. Eventually the activists are captured by CIA agents but are able to escape again.
Meanwhile, a reporter succeeds in shedding light on the real reasons for the Fire Twister: The CEO Syncos was paid - presumably by a rival company - to ruin Synco, so that he created the Fire Twister. During her unauthorized research at the Synco headquarters, the reporter is killed by the CEO Syncos with a golf club .
To stop the Fire Twister, engineer Anthony unleashes an explosion near the firestorm that dies, but the storm only increases in size. But then Scott succeeds in stopping the Fire Twister with a C4 explosion in the center and saving himself in the process. The Synco CEO was fatally hit by an ax that was thrown up by the storm.

The film received mostly poor reviews. It received 1/5 stars on IMDb, 1.5 / 5 on Moviepilot and 2.5 / 5 on Amazon.
