Fiugaty ( German Fingatten ) is a local office in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . It is located in the area of Gmina Reszel ( town and country municipality Rößel ) in the powiat Kętrzyński (district Rastenburg ).
Fiugaty is located 13 kilometers southwest of the district town of Kętrzyn ( German Rastenburg ) and five kilometers southeast of the town of Reszel (Rößel) . Until 1945 it was a Vorwerk for Gut Pülz ( Polish: Pilec ) in the district of Rastenburg in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia .
With all of southern East Prussia , Fingatten came to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war . The place received the Polish name form "Fingatten". Today it is no longer inhabited, but still recognizable as a local authority.
Before 1945, Fingatten was parish in the Protestant Church of Bäslack (in Polish: Bezławki ) and in the Catholic Church of Heiligelinde (in Polish: Święta Lipka ).
The Fiugaty locality is today on a side road or on a country road that leads from Święta Lipka to Kocibórz (Kattmedien) and on to Voivodship Road 590 - on the route of the former German Reich Road 141 .
