Flaming booklet
The Fläminghefte were published from 1925 to 1944 in Dahme / Mark and Luckenwalde by local researchers Max Wald (Dahme / Mark) and Emil Koitz (Luckenwalde). They dedicated themselves to local history topics of the Niederer Fläming region (mostly old district Jüterbog-Luckenwalde ). The notebooks had a uniform appearance, which included a typical Fläming landscape with a Dutch mill.
The first period from 1925 to 1932
In the first period, 30 Fläming booklets with different topics with local history content were published by the then director of the local history museum in Dahme / Mark Max Wald and the school principal Emil Koitz, who also acted as authors. 20 titles came from Wald, 7 from Koitz, one title each from Ernst Kube (director of the Dahme / Mark local history museum from 1940), Werner Carus and Bruno Emil König . The majority of the booklets were printed on commission in Dahme / Mark by A. (August) Hilscher, the others in Luckenwalde by Herrmann Kobisch and G. (Gustav) Gutdeutsch.

The second period from 1934 to 1944
Due to the political situation Emil Koitz had to stop his activities from 1933, he was a committed SPD member. For this reason, Max Wald published the issues from 1934 solely as re-editions, often with a different title. Only three new editions were created, but these appeared as sub-numbers to existing ones (2II, 2III, 3II). All booklets were printed by A. Hilscher (from 1940 Heinz Hilscher).

Attempts at resuscitation from 1992
Tilo Wolf (director of the local history museum Dahme / Mark ) and Roman Schmidt (director of the local history museum Luckenwalde ) tried in 1999 to bring the series back to life. But they could only read one booklet called The Revival of the Fläming Booklets! publish. The Jüterbog local history museum was more successful . It brought out two issues of the old series as reprints (3 II and the first edition of issue 14) and two issues under the title Neue Fläminghefte about the history of the city of Jüterbog:
- No. 1: Henrik Schulze, Norbert Jannek: Jüterbog - Contributions to the history of the city - “A little home book” . Zahna 1992
- No. 2: Henrik Schulze: Chronicle of the City of Jüterbog - Brief outline . Jueterbog 2012
