Plomin (Italian Fianona ) is a village in the Croatian municipality ( Općina ) Kršan , Istria County with 113 inhabitants (as of 2011).

The village or town is 80 meters above a bay, 168 meters above sea level, on the site of an Illyrian - Liburnian settlement and the Roman Flanona . The Plomin thermal power station is located nearby .

The medieval center of Plomin is almost deserted today after most of the residents moved away after the Second World War . Many houses are in poor condition.
