Florian Hanig
Florian Hanig (born 1968 in Graefelfing ) is a German screenwriter , director and journalist .
Life
Hanig studied in Munich, the United States and Hong Kong, and also attended the German School of Journalism . From 1995 to 2000 he worked as an editor for the travel magazine Merian . Reports and essays by him have appeared in various edited volumes. In 1998 he was awarded the Axel Springer Prize in the Print category for the text Shiny Shops: The City of London .
From 2000 to 2018, Hanig was employed in various functions as an editor at GEO magazine . From April 2015 to April 2016, he led on behalf of Andreas Wolfers, the Henri Nannen School , by Gruner + Jahr , the time publishing and the mirror -borne School of Journalism in Hamburg. He also teaches as a lecturer at the Academy for Journalism in Hamburg , where he holds seminars on storytelling .
His debut film Nachgeschäden was released in 2005. Hanig was awarded the German Civis TV Prize in the entertainment category for the screenplay . He also wrote screenplays for Kückückskind , a television film about swapped children, and the surrogate mother drama Monsoon Baby (2014). He also makes documentaries as a director. Florian Hanig lives in Hamburg and Klitmøller, Denmark.
