The Florianshütte is a part of the municipality of Lenggries and a privately run, public mountain restaurant of the Munich professional fire brigade . It is named after St. Florian , the patron saint of the fire brigade . The hut was built in 1928, and several extensions were carried out in the following years. The Florianshütte is supplied by a material ropeway that was built in 1964.

- From Wegscheid starting on the Draxlhang via the Kotalm hiking trail 473 (walking time: approx. 2½ hours)
- Through the Längental to Brauneck (walking time: approx. 4 hours). This route leads from behind to the Brauneck. This path is much further, but more scenic than the direct ascent.
