The Tölzer Hütte is a refuge of the Tölz section of the German Alpine Club , which is located at 1835 m above sea level. A. is located below the Schafreuter in the Vorkarwendel , the north-eastern part of the Karwendel . It is an important base for numerous hikes and crossings as well as ski tours in winter.

In 2020 the hut will remain closed due to a general renovation.

Accesses

Standard path from the Riss valley near Hinterriß (bus stop ascent to Tölzer Hütte , parking lot, 903 m above sea level ) via the Leckbachweg, walking time 2 hours

from Fall ( 773 m above sea level , bus stop) via the Grammersbergalm and the Moosenalm, walking time 5 hours, optionally with crossing the Schafreuter

from Fall through the Dürrach- and Krottenbachtal , at last a very steep ascent to Delpssee , walking time 4 hours

From the Oswaldhütte bus stop in the Rißtal ( 844 m above sea level ) via the Moosenalm, walking time 3 to 4 hours (also as a ski tour)

from the Riss valley the Reitsteig, starting 3 km south of Vorderriß , over the Moosenalm, walking time 4 hours

Via the Grasbergkamm high path to the Plumsjochhütte ( 1630 m above sea level ), walking time 6 hours, demanding high path over the Grasbergkamm ( Fleischbank , Hölzelstaljoch , Grasberg , Kompar ), surefootedness and a head for heights required
to the Falkenhütte ( 1848 m above sea level ) via the Riss valley, Johannestal and the Kleiner Ahornboden , walking time 6 - 7 hours
to the Karwendelhaus ( 1771 m above sea level ) via Rißtal, Johannestal and the Kleiner Ahornboden, walking time 6 hours
