Admission

The approval of the active ingredient for the European Union was granted in 1997 by Twinagro Ltd. requested. The Commission initially assessed the documents as complete and, with Decision 98/676 / EC, granted the provisional authorization of plant protection products containing fluazolate. However, pesticides containing fluazolate have not been approved in any country of the Union. Gaps were later identified in the application documents that the applicant could not or did not want to fix. The Commission withdrew the possibility of provisional approval in 2002.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no pesticides with the active ingredient fluazolate are permitted.
