Flubendiamide is a chemical compound from the group of benzene dicarboxamides (BDCA). Flubendiamid is an insecticide from the group of active ingredients called ryanodine receptor modulators and was developed by Nihon Nōyaku and Bayer CropScience .

Extraction and presentation

Flubendiamide is synthesized from o -toluidine or pentafluoroethyl- o -toluidine.

use

Flubendiamid is used in the cultivation of cotton, fruit and vegetables, nuts, grapes, maize and rice against caterpillars (from Lepidoptera ). Flubendiamid works mainly through the feeding effect , as a larvicide it is very effective.

Admission

In some EU countries, plant protection products with this active ingredient are approved, but not in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
