Followers is a Japanese drama series that was released on Netflix on February 27, 2020 with German synchronization . It is the first drama series from the director Mika Ninagawa .

The series revolves around the pulsating capital Tokyo with all of its life, colors, fashion and ambition as well as the fascinating lifestyle of the women who live there. Limi Nara is a famous and successful fashion photographer who advanced her career with photographs of modern Tokyo, in which she captures the change of the city and its people. She leads a self-confident and independent life, both privately and professionally. In contrast to her is the young actress Natsume Hyakuta, who, in search of self-confidence and her own identity, repeatedly has problems privately and professionally.
But this changes suddenly one day when Limi publishes a photograph of Natsume on Instagram. Natsume's life and that of the people around her collide in blooming Tokyo as they try to defend their status and status while following their hearts, dreams and social networks. All of these women try to find their own path to happiness and love.
