The Schönbrunner Hütte is a self-catering low mountain hut of the Ettlingen section of the German Alpine Club in the northern Black Forest . It belongs to the hut category MH and is located in the municipality of Bühl in the Rastatt district , in Baden-Württemberg in the Black Forest National Park at 720  m above sea level. NHN .

The building, built in 1925 by the Karlsruhe Section , was expanded in 1959, sold to the Mannheim Section in 1976 and gently modernized in the years that followed. Since August 2015 it has belonged to the Ettlingen section, which continues to operate it as a rustic mountain hut .

The Schönbrunner Hütte is a self-catering hut that can be used all year round. The hut is located at a height of 720 m in a central location in the Black Forest National Park near the Black Forest High Road . This makes it the starting point for a variety of hikes , mountain bike tours and climbing . In winter there are opportunities for cross-country skiing and snowshoe tours . There are neighboring climbing opportunities on the Falkenfelsen, Wiedenfelsen and the Eichhaldenfirst on the Karlsruher Grat .
