The Mannheim section of the German Alpine Club (DAV) ( DAV Mannheim for short ) is a section of the German Alpine Club in Mannheim . It was founded on October 12, 1888 as the "Pfalzgau Section". The DAV Mannheim is one of the oldest and with 3564 members (as of December 31, 2018) one of the medium-sized sections of the German Alpine Club , as well as one of the largest clubs in Mannheim.
