Mika Ninagawa
Mika Ninagawa ( Japanese 蜷 川 実 花 , Ninagawa Mika ; born October 18, 1972 in Chōfu , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese photographer and film director .
Life
Ninagawa has become known since the mid-1990s for her colorful photographs of flowers, fish and landscapes, which she published in several photo volumes. She also has great success in the fashion and advertising industries. She has made two feature films since 2006 and has made a number of music videos featuring the music of Japanese and foreign artists and groups.
On the Bund in Shanghai , based on Ninagawa's designs, the Shanghai Rose Café was built in the former Shanghai Rowing Club at the mouth of the Suzhou River in the Huangpu , and opened in February 2013.
