Folmar Blangsted
Folmar Blangsted (born October 6, 1904 in Copenhagen , Denmark , † August 11, 1982 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American film editor of Danish origin.
Life
Blangsted directed two films in 1937 with Westbound Mail and The Old Wyoming Trail , after which he worked as an editor from 1944 until the 1970s. In total, he was involved in the editing of around 70 productions , including a few television films in the 1970s and a few activities for series.
In 1972 he was for his work on the film Summer of '42 for the Oscar in the category Best Editing nomination and by the American Cinema Editors with an Eddie Award excellent.
