Arina Folts (born January 1, 1997 in Tashkent ) is an Uzbek tennis player .

Career

Folts, who prefers to play on the hard court, began playing tennis at the age of eight. So far she mainly plays on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has won two tournaments in doubles so far.

She played her first tournament in April 2011 in Qarshi . In September 2012 she received a wildcard for qualifying for the Tashkent Open 2012 , where she was clearly defeated by Wesna Ratkowna Dolonz in two sets with 1: 6 and 0: 6 in the first round. At the Tashkent Open 2013 she received a wildcard for the main draw , where she was defeated by María Teresa Torró Flor in the first round with 0: 6 and 3: 6. She also started with a wildcard together with her partner Guzal Yusupova in doubles, where they lost to Weronika Kapschaj and Teodora Mirčić with 0: 6 and 2: 6. In 2014 she was eliminated in the same competition in both the singles and doubles qualifications in the first round, as well as in 2015 and 2016 .

In 2013, Folts first played for the Uzbek Fed Cup team ; their Fed Cup record shows so far 2 wins out of 7 defeats.
