The Foostock (also known as Ruchen ) is 2611 m above sea level. M. high mountain of the Glarus Alps in Switzerland on the border between the cantons of Glarus and St. Gallen . It is located north of Piz Sardona in the mountain range that separates the Sernftal from the Weisstannental .
The summit can be reached from the Foopass ( 2223 m ) in about 1:20 h (difficulty level up to I), whereby the striking Foostöckli ( 2536 m ) is bypassed on climbing tracks to the west and north. One point is secured with wire ropes.
