Forest Montgomery

Forest Hill Montgomery (born August 22, 1874 in Cleveland , † May 7, 1947 ) was an American tennis player .

biography

Montgomery took part in the tennis competition at the 1904 Summer Olympics in St. Louis . In the individual , he did not get past the second round after a bye at the start, where he was defeated by the later Olympic champion Beals Wright . He competed in doubles with Stewart Tritle . The two lost at the start of the pairing of Charles Cresson and Semp Russ .

In 1905 he was the head of the library office in St. Louis.
