Formerie is a village and a former French commune with 2,018 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Beauvais and the Canton of Grandvilliers .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Formerie and Boutavent were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Formerie of the same name and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Formerie.

Formerie is located approximately 35 kilometers northwest of Beauvais on the railway line from Amiens to Rouen , which has a station in the village.
