The Forsyth Peak is a turn 1500 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Cruzen Range it rises 800 m east of Loewenstein Peak .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 2005 after the New Zealand geologist Jane Forsyth, who was involved in five geological mapping campaigns from 1988 onwards , including the Willett Range , the Clare Range and the Victoria Valley .
