Frédéric Chiffoleau

Frédéric Chiffoleau (born October 20, 1975 in Saint-Nazaire ) is a French jazz musician ( double bass , electric bass ).

Act

Chiffoleau initially belonged to Quartethno and Julien Lourau's band , where he was involved in two albums. Between 2002 and 2013 he was a member of Médéric Collignon's band Jus de Bocse . He also worked in the field of improvised music and jazz with Michel Portal , Louis Sclavis , Alain Jean-Marie , Claude Barthélemy , Julien Lourau, Pierre de Bethmann , Marc Ducret , Bojan Z , Émile Parisien , Ray Lema and Norma Winstone . In 2016 he founded the quartet Old and New Songs with Yoann Loustalot , François Chensel and Christophe Marguet , which also went on tour in 2019. He is also a member of Yvan Robilliards YellowsTone and the Hoarse quartet .
