François-Xavier Loizeau
François-Xavier Jacques Marie Loizeau (born July 7, 1939 in Maillé ) is a French clergyman and emeritus bishop of Digne .
Life
François-Xavier Loizeau was ordained a priest on June 28, 1965 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Digne on November 10, 1997 . The episcopal consecration donated the bishop of Luçon , François Garnier , on January 25 of the next year; Co - consecrators were Louis-Marie Billé , Archbishop of Aix , and Jean-Pierre Ricard , Bishop of Montpellier .
On November 7, 2014, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
