Francesco Attesti (born June 6, 1975 in Cortona ) is an Italian pianist .

biography

Francesco Attesti started playing the piano at the age of 5 and gave his first concert at the age of 11. He made his debut with an interpretation of the Toccata and Fugue in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach .

As a student at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, Francesco worked with Maestro Luigi Tanganelli and graduated in 1998 with the highest honor awarded by the institute. This was followed by masterclasses in Rome, Salzburg and Florence, among others at the Mozarteum with Jacques Rouvier (1998), Hector Moreno (1999, 2000) and Sergio Perticaroli (1996, 2000, 2003).

Since June 2019 he has been the deputy mayor and advisor for culture and tourism of the city of Cortona.

  • In 2012 a CD called Virtuoso Sentimento with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Schubert and Ludwig van Beethoven followed in the same publishing house .
  • In 2014 Francesco Attesti produced a CD for Drycastle called '900 French music for clarinet and piano.
  • In 2016 Francesco Attesti produced a DVD for Drycastle called Deeply Mozart.
