Francesco Bissolo (* around 1470 in Treviso ; † April 20, 1554 in Venice ) was a Venetian painter of the Italian Renaissance .

The early work of Francesco Bissolo shows, in addition to its origins in the local tradition of Trevisan painting, a clear influence of Giovanni Bellini . A collaboration can be proven for the year 1492 in the Sala del Maggior Consiglio of the Palazzo Ducale .

Since the turn of the 16th century, there has been a clear rapprochement with Giorgione and Boccaccio Boccaccino , whose conception of landscape Bissolo combines with Bellinesque composition schemes.
