Francis Daw Tang
Francis Daw Tang (born December 19, 1946 in Maw Gun ) is Bishop of Myitkyina .
Life
Francis Daw Tang was ordained a priest on March 15, 1979 . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Myitkyina and titular bishop of Maturba on January 15, 2002 .
He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Thailand , Singapore and Cambodia and the Apostolic Delegate in Myanmar , Laos , Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia , Adriano Bernardini , on April 11 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Paul Zingtung Grawng , Bishop of Myitkyina, and Charles Maung Bo SDB , Bishop of Pathein .
He was appointed Bishop of Myitkyina on December 3, 2004, and initiated into office on February 6 of the next year.
