Francis Peter de Campo (born July 9, 1923 in Melbourne , Victoria , Australia , † April 23, 1998 in Port Pirie , South Australia , Australia) was Bishop of Port Pirie .

Life

Francis Peter de Campo received after studying Catholic theology and philosophy on July 24, 1949 by the coadjutor bishop of Sandhurst , Bernard Denis Stewart , the sacrament of priestly ordination for the diocese of Sandhurst.

On October 29, 1979, Pope John Paul II appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Port Pirie. The Archbishop of Adelaide , James William Gleeson , donated him episcopal ordination on February 13, 1980 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Maitland , Leo Morris Clarke , and the Bishop of Sandhurst, Noel Desmond Daly .

On August 11, 1980, Francis Peter de Campo became Bishop of Port Pirie, succeeding the resigned Bryan Gallagher .
