Francis Reusser

Francis Reusser (born December 1, 1942 in Vevey ; † April 10, 2020 ) was a Swiss film director and photographer .

Life

Francis Reusser completed his studies at the École de photographie in Vevey, later an apprenticeship at Télévision Suisse Romande . Together with François Albera, he founded the audio-visual department of the École Supérieure d'Art Visuel in Geneva. Between 1966 and 2018 he shot a total of more than 20 films and was awarded the Golden Leopard and the César , among others .

Reusser died on April 10, 2020 at the age of 77.
