Francis Teke Lysinge

Francis Teke Lysinge (born December 28, 1938 in Muea ) is a Cameroonian clergyman and emeritus bishop of Mamfe in Cameroon .

Life

Francis Teke Lysinge was ordained a priest on April 17, 1966 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Mamfe on February 9, 1999 . The Archbishop of Douala , Christian Wiyghan Cardinal Tumi , consecrated him bishop on April 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Paul Mbiybe Verdzekov , Archbishop of Bamenda , and Pius Suh Awa , Bishop of Buéa .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on January 25, 2014.
