The Archdiocese of Bamenda ( Latin Archidioecesis Bamendanus ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Bamenda ( Cameroon ).

It was preceded by Pope Paul VI on August 13, 1970 . from the diocese of Buéa founded diocese Bamenda. The first bishop was Paul Verdzekov . Pope John Paul II elevated the diocese to an archdiocese on March 18, 1982 .

The suffragan dioceses Buéa , Kumbo and Mamfe are assigned to the metropolitan seat .
