Francisco Peralta y Ballabriga

Francisco Peralta y Ballabriga (born August 15, 1911 in Híjar , Teruel Province , Aragon ; † August 23, 2006 there ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Vitoria from 1955 to 1978 .

Life

Francisco Peralta y Ballabriga the sacrament of ordination on March 28, 1936 .

Pope Pius XII appointed him Bishop of Vitoria in 1955 . He was ordained bishop on March 20, 1955, by Ildebrando Antoniutti , Apostolic Nuncio in Spain, and co-consecrators Archbishop Rigoberto Domenech y Valls and Archbishop José María Bueno y Monreal .

He was a councilor during the Second Vatican Council .
