Francisco Plancarte y Navarrette (born October 23, 1856 in Zamora de Hidalgo , Mexico , † July 2, 1920 ) was Archbishop of Linares o Nueva León .

Life

Francisco Plancarte y Navarrette received on 18 December 1880, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On September 17, 1895, Pope Leo XIII appointed him . to the Bishop of Campeche . Curia Cardinal Vincenzo Vannutelli , donated him the episcopal ordination on February 16, 1896 . The inauguration took place on November 26th of the same year. On November 28, 1898 Leo XIII appointed him. to the Bishop of Cuernavaca . The inauguration took place on February 16, 1899. Pope Pius X appointed him Archbishop of Linares o Nueva León on November 27, 1911. The inauguration took place on May 3, 1912.
