Konstantin Aleksandrovich Kedrov , formerly Constantinople Berditschewski ( Russian Константин Александрович Кедров (Бердичевский) * 12. November 1942 in Rybinsk , Soviet Union ) is a Russian writer , poet , philosopher , literary critic and publisher . He is the editor-in-chief of the journal Poetow, the founder of the term " metametaphor " and the philosophical theory " Metakode ", founder of the literary group " DOOS " (Voluntary Society for the Protection of Dragonflies) and a member of the executive committee of the Russian PEN - Center.

life and work

Konstantin Kedrow was born into the theater-artistic family of Alexander Berditschewski and Nadeschda Jumatowa. His great-grandfather was the surrealist painter Pavel Chelishchev .

In 1958, Kedrov published his first poems in the newspaper "Komsomolets Tatarstan". From 1960 he lived in Moscow. He first studied journalism at Lomonosov University and then philology at Kazan University . 1968 Kedrov was in the postgraduate of the Moscow Maxim Gorky Literature Institute added. In 1973 he published his doctoral thesis “The epic beginning of the Russian novel in the first half of the XIX. Century ". From 1974 to 1986 he was a lecturer at the Maxim Gorki Literature Institute. Here a group of students was formed around Kedrow and here he formulated the general principle of poetry as a metametaphor in 1983:

In 1983 Kedrow wrote the poem "Computer of Love". A year later Konstantin Kedrow published a new poetic manifesto, where he declared the establishment of "DOOS" (Voluntary Society for the Protection of Dragonflies).

The Gorky Institute fired him in 1986 on suspicion of anti-Soviet propaganda and agitation . In 1989 his book "Poetisches Universum" was published. He now worked as a writer and presenter on various TV programs . From 1991 to 1998 he worked as a literary columnist in the newspaper " Izvestia active". In 1996 he wrote another doctoral thesis "Ethics and the entropic principle in culture". He participated in literary festivals in Finland , France , Austria , Germany and other countries. In 1995 he founded the “Newspaper of Poetry” and in 2000 the “Journal POetov.” In 1999 Konstantin Kedrow became President of the Russian Poets Association under the auspices of UNESCO . In 2000 he was the founder and director of the festival " World Poetry Day ". Konstantin Kedrow has received several literary prizes, including the Russian Grammy for Poetry (2003, 2005), the “ Manhae Literature Prize ” (2013) - South Korea and the “ Dominante Prize ” (2014) - Germany.
