Franco Cavegn (born January 6, 1971 in Vella ) is a former Swiss ski racer .

In 1991 Cavegn won World Cup points for the first time in Val Gardena in 27th place. The 2001/02 season was the best year of his career with six finishes in the top ten and a third place in Kvitfjell . On December 10, 2003, Cavegn tore a cruciate ligament at the Super-G in Beaver Creek , which heralded the end of his career. After a 58th and 43rd place in the following season, he ended his career as a skier in October 2005 at the age of 34. Cavegn is involved in the ski manufacturer zai AG .
