He attended the German Sport University Cologne until 1995 and graduated as a football teacher. Eulberg gained his first practical experience in the coaching field at the Lower Saxon amateur club Sportfreunde Salzgitter and with the women's team from Eintracht Wolfsburg . In the spring of 2001 he took over the coaching position at 1. SC Göttingen 05 and led the team to the championship in the Lower Saxony Oberliga . From 2005 to 2007 Frank Eulberg was Ernst Middendorp's assistant coach at the Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa. He then moved to Arminia Bielefeld together with Middendorp . Eulberg initially worked as a scout and from June 2007 as an assistant trainer. He assisted Michael Frontzeck and Jörg Berger, among others . From March 30, 2010 to May 25, 2010 he was the head coach of the second division club . However, he was only considered an interim solution and was replaced by Christian Ziege . Eulberg moved back to the assistant coaching staff. On June 10, 2010, Arminia Bielefeld finally announced the separation from Frank Eulberg. A little later, on November 27, 2010, the Bielefeld team announced that they would be working with Eulberg again from now on and gave him a post as assistant to the sporting management.

On July 1, 2012, he became the new coach at the northern regional division of Goslarer SC 08 . Despite a strong first half of the season and a contract extension in February 2013, Eulberg was given leave of absence from the club in May after a series of defeats. For the 2013/14 season he was introduced as assistant coach by Claus-Dieter Wollitz at the regional league club FC Viktoria Köln . On December 6, 2014, Wollitz and Eulberg were given leave of absence from FC Viktoria Köln. In April 2016 he was introduced as assistant coach by Claus-Dieter Wollitz at FC Energie Cottbus .
