Frank Fürbeth

Frank Fürbeth (born November 2, 1954 in Siegen ) is a German philologist who mainly deals with German medieval studies . Fürbeth is a member of the Mediävistenverband eV and was temporarily editor of the magazine Das Mittelalter .

Life

Fürbeth attended the Staatliche Oberrealschule, today's Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium in Saarbrücken up to the Abitur in 1973. After studying philosophy and German in Saarbrücken, Cologne and Frankfurt am Main , he was a research assistant at the Institute for German Language and Literature II of the Goethe University in Frankfurt . Today he is an adjunct professor there . Fürbeth lives in Bochum today .
