Frank McRae

Franklin "Frank" McRae (born March 18, 1944 in Memphis , Tennessee ) is an American actor and American football player.

Football career

Frank McRae studied at Tennessee State University and played in 1967 as a defensive tackle under Head Coach George Halas for the Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL). After a playing year with the Bears, he ended his career.

Acting career

McRae made his film debut in 1972 in the film Cool Breeze , but he was not mentioned in the credits for the actors. The following year he appeared for the first time for a television film entitled Snatched , but this time with a mention.

He was soon able to win roles in high-value films, such as Rocky II in 1979 . Only 48 hours soon followed , eight years later, in 1990 he also played in the sequel, which ran under the title And again 48 hours , but this time McRae was not named in the credits. In 1989, McRae played the character of Sharkey in the James Bond film License to Kill .

More recently, McRae has also appeared in series, such as in 2003 for two episodes in the series Emergency Room .
