action

Inmate Walter Ballantine manages spectacularly to break out of the labor camp with a construction machine. Outside he is already expected by his accomplices and can escape by moped, airplane and vintage car. He is presented with the plan to rob a makeshift bank in a shopping area. But Walter suggests taking the whole bank with you. To do this, the group must first steal a low loader. After a successful coup, the trailer is secretly posted under the bank caravans at night. After all, with a lot of noise and distraction, the house can be transported away by truck. The four security guards are chased away. Later, the little house is painted pink so that it cannot be recognized at first. However, as the paint is peeling off, the group has to flee quickly. On a hill they try to blow up the safe several times. The safe opens, but the entire house is also destroyed and moves down the street as a rolling remnant. Only Ballentine can still jump up. The entire vehicle falls into the sea, but Ballentine can still save himself. According to the final monologue, he is said to have swum as far as Samoa and robbed the National Bank there by himself.
