Frank Nürnberger

Frank Nürnberger (born March 23, 1971 in Kölleda , Sömmerda district , GDR ) is a German political official ( SPD ).

Nürnberger graduated from high school in Sömmerda and did his military service in Delitzsch and Erfurt . He studied at the University of Potsdam law and closed his legal training in 1997 with the second legal state examination. He then worked in the justice administration of the state of Saxony in 1998 . Another stop was the state of Berlin . He joined the state of Brandenburg in 2002 . There he became head of the department for specialist planning at the Berlin-Brandenburg aviation authority, and from 2013 head of the central immigration authority in Eisenhüttenstadt .
On February 1, 2018, Nuremberg became head of the Brandenburg Office for the Protection of the Constitution . After having had problems with the former SPD Interior Minister Karl-Heinz Schröter , he was released from work by the new Brandenburg Interior Minister Michael Stübgen (CDU) on December 19, 2019 "with immediate effect" and retired.

Nürnberger is married.
