Frank Riemensperger (born September 13, 1962 in Niederrimsingen near Freiburg ) is a German computer scientist and manager. He is currently the CEO of Accenture Germany.

Life

Frank Riemensperger, grew up in Weil am Rhein, studied computer science at Furtwangen University and Eastern Michigan University in the USA with internships at Texas Instruments near Boston and Ford in Detroit. He obtained his degree in computer science (FH) in 1987. He has been with Accenture since 1989.

Professional background

From 1987 to 1988 Frank Riemensperger worked as an assistant to the management at the management consultancy Integrata AG and switched to Accenture on January 1, 1989 (Andersen Consulting until January 1, 2001). Frank Riemensperger is a member of the Senate of the German Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech). The aim is to provide coordinated recommendations for action and implementation to business and politics in order to advance the digital transformation of Germany's leading industries.

In addition, Riemensperger is a member of the executive committee of the IT industry association BITKOM , the Baden-Baden Entrepreneur Talks (BBUG), Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany (AmCham), member of the Munich and Feldafing districts, in the steering committee of the platform industry 4.0 and in the steering committee of the platform learning systems.
