Frank Merlin Troeh (born February 19, 1882 in Sioux City , † December 24, 1968 in Portland ) was an American sports marksman .
successes
Frank Troeh, who worked for the Portland Gun Club , took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in a trap . In the individual, he finished second with 93 points behind Mark Arie and thus received the silver medal. He finished the team competition with the US team in first place, with 547 points the Americans had 44 points ahead of the second-placed Belgians. In addition to Troeh, the team included Mark Arie, Horace Bonser , Jay Clark , Frank Wright and Forest McNeir .
At the national level, Troeh won numerous competitions. He has won many national titles and state wins.
