Frank Werner (writer)
Frank Werner (born May 7, 1944 in Sangerhausen ) is a German writer and audio dramaturge.
Life
Frank Werner grew up in Erfurt and from 1954 in West Berlin . He studied history and philosophy at the Free University of Berlin . From 1968 he worked as a freelance journalist for various newspapers and radio stations . From 1974 to 1980 he worked as a dramaturge for the radio play department of the broadcaster Free Berlin .
Frank Werner is the author of short stories , poems and numerous radio plays . In 1983 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . In 1986 he received a working grant from the Berlin Senate . Frank Werner lives today as a freelance writer in Berlin . He is a member of the Association of German Writers .
