Franz Ahlgrimm

Friedrich Franz Albert Ahlgrimm (born November 30, 1867 in Priepert , † 1927 in Hamburg ) was a German politician of the German Democratic Party (DDP) and a member of the Hamburg parliament .

Life

After attending the village school in Priepert, Ahlgrimm attended grammar school in Neustrelitz from 1876 to 1886 . From spring 1886 he studied in Freiburg im Breisgau , Berlin and Kiel . He completed his doctorate on November 30, 1889 in Kiel and passed the state examination there on August 2 . He then served in the military as a "one-year volunteer" at the Field Artillery - Regiment Nr. 24.

He received his pedagogical training in Flensburg and Husum and then became an assistant teacher at the Blankenese secondary school . In 1895 he moved to Hamburg as a senior teacher and was then director of the Realschule am Weidenstieg on February 9, 1912.

In March 1919, Ahlgrimm was a member of the first Hamburg citizenship of the Weimar Republic for the German Democratic Party (DDP) . Like many of the other 160 members, he held his first seat in the town hall shortly after the November Revolution .
