Franz Brosch

Franz Brosch (born December 10, 1949 in Iphofen , Kitzingen district ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and association official.

education and profession

Franz Brosch completed an apprenticeship in banking and initially worked for private banks in Würzburg and Frankfurt am Main. He then studied business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg and business administration and law at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . He worked as a businessman and lawyer.

Since 2003, Franz Brosch has been managing director for Upper Franconia at the Association of the Bavarian Metal and Electrical Industry (VBM) , as well as managing director for Upper Franconia at the Bavarian Metal and Electronics Association (BayME) and managing director for Upper Franconia at the Association of Bavarian Business (vbm) .

From 2003 to 2008 he was alternating chairman of the representative assembly of the German pension insurance for Upper and Middle Franconia. Since 2008 he has been the alternate chairman of the representative assembly of the German Pension Insurance North Bavaria for the employer group. He is also Chairman of the Administrative Council of the Federal Employment Agency.

Since 2007 he has been a member of the supervisory board of AGO AG Energie + Anlagen in Kulmbach. Franz Brosch has been a member of the board of directors of Oberfranken Offensiv since 2004 and has also been a member of the boards of trustees of the Coburg University and the Hof University since 2006 .

As part of the relatives affair in 2013, it became known that Brosch had employed relatives as employees at state expense until shortly after he left the state parliament in 2003.

From 1982 to 2003, Brosch was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the 10th electoral term (1982–1986), 11th electoral term (1986–1990), 12th electoral term (1990–1994), 13th electoral term (1994–1998) and 14th. Electoral term (1998–2003). He was a member of the working group for economy, traffic and technology as well as a member of the economic and interior committee, later in the council of elders.

For many years he was chairman of the data protection commission at the Bavarian state parliament. In 2003 Hans Gerhard Stockinger became his successor.

Brosch is a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. Franco-Raetia zu Würzburg in the CV . He is a Rotarian and belongs to the RC Munich, Bavarian State Parliament.
