Franz Fischbacher

Franz Fischbacher (born March 15, 1925 in Gampern ; † September 21, 2006 ) was an Austrian painter and graphic artist .

Live and act

He studied at the art school of the city of Linz with Herbert Dimmel and at the Stuttgart Academy with Rudolf Yelin .

From 1991 he lived with his wife Alja in the village of Neudorf in the municipality of Herzogsdorf .

He created works in acrylic, oil, ink or pencil. Works by him are u. a. in the Lentos Art Museum Linz , in the Artemons art gallery in Hellmonsödt , in the 20th century painting collection in the art history department of the Upper Austrian State Museum .
