Life

In January 1822 he made his debut at the Hofbühne am Isartor in Munich under the direction of Carl Carl , who also took the young actor to Vienna and initially engaged him for the Theater an der Wien and the Leopoldstädter Theater . He played there continuously until his death on March 13, 1876.

For the first twenty years he first played heroes and lovers, then he moved on to the older subject. He did an excellent job in both fields and was one of the favorites of the Viennese public.
