Franz Heinrich von Borcke

Franz Heinrich von Borcke , also von Borck , (* around 1675 ; † September 4, 1739 ) was a Prussian chamber director.

He came from the noble Pomeranian family Borcke . His father Franz Joachim von Borcke (1631–1692) was a district administrator in Pomerania. His mother Elisabeth Emerentia was born Freiin von Reiffenberg . His brother Friedrich Wilhelm von Borcke advanced to major general and commander of Kolberg in the Prussian army.

Borcke studied from 1689 at the University of Frankfurt (Oder) . He entered the Prussian civil service. Here he rose to the position of Privy Councilor and director of the Pomeranian War and Domain Chamber in Stettin .

He inherited the goods Labes (a), Reckow and Unheim from his father . In 1704 he bought the Glietzig (a) estate from his brother Friedrich Wilhelm von Borcke .

He was married to Abigail Elisabeth, also a born von Borcke. Her son Georg Philipp von Borcke became a Prussian lieutenant colonel, her son Franz Andreas von Borcke (1693–1766) became a Prussian lieutenant general.
