Franz Katluhn

Franz Katluhn (born December 9, 1865 in Insterburg , † November 30, 1942 in Leipzig ) was a German judge and President of the Senate at the Imperial Court .

Life

Kathlun studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg and in 1883 became a member of the Littuania free country team . In 1894 he was one of the Lithuanians who joined the SC zu Königsberg as the new Corps Littuania .

He passed the first state examination in 1886 and became an assessor in 1892. In 1896 he became a district judge at the district court Marggrabowa and in 1901 a district judge at the district court Insterburg . In 1904 he became an assistant judge at the Königsberg Higher Regional Court . The appointment to the regional judge in 1906 and the chamber judge in 1907 were further stations until he came to the Reichsgericht as assistant judge in 1912 . In 1914 he became a Reich judge and in 1926 President of the Senate. He retired on April 1, 1934.
