Franz Koppe

Franz Koppe (born March 20, 1931 in Koblenz ; † August 12, 2012 ) was a German philosopher of language and literature.

From 1951 to 1964, Koppe initially worked in the graphics industry. From 1965 he studied philosophy , Romance languages , German and art history at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and the University of Konstanz . In 1971 he was at the University of Konstanz with the work literary objectification. On the dilemma of modern literature between myth and scientism; Paradigms: Voltaire, Flaubert, Robbe-Grillet to Dr. phil. PhD. After scientific assistance, he qualified as a professor in 1976 with the script Language and Need. On the philosophical basis of the humanities at the Department of Philosophy and History at the University of Constance. From 1976 he was a private lecturer and research assistant in the philosophy department at the University of Konstanz.

In 1982 Koppe was offered a professorship for philosophy at the Berlin University of the Arts . Franz Koppe was assigned to the group of Erlangen constructivism , Peter Janich , Friedrich Kambartel , Jürgen Mittelstraß and Matthias Gatzemeier , who initially worked in Constance .

He lived on the island of Reichenau .
