Basil Cho Kyu-man

Basil Cho Kyu-man ( Kor. 조규만 , born June 8, 1955 in Poch'ŏn , South Korea ) is a South Korean clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Wonju .

Life

Basil Cho Kyu-man received on 26 August in 1982 by the Archbishop of Seoul , Stephen Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 3, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Elephantaris in Proconsulari and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Seoul. The Archbishop of Seoul, Nicholas Cardinal Cheong Jin-suk , ordained him episcopal on January 25 of the same year ; Co -consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Seoul, Lucas Kim Un-hoe and Andrew Yeom Soo-jung . Basil Cho Kyu-man is also Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Seoul.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Wonju on March 31, 2016.
